In an era of rapid modernization, we often forget that Bangladesh is, at its heart, a riverine country. Mother Nature has been kind to us, weaving rivers across our land like a vast spider's web. These waterways are not only lifelines of daily life but also silent witnesses to our history, playing a vital role even during our Liberation War. Our rivers carry our stories, our struggles, and our heritage.

For generations, boats have been the primary mode of transport along these rivers. Across the country, countless types of boats exist, each shaped by its region, structure, and purpose and by the workload it was built to carry. Among them, tourist boats stand as a bridge between tradition and experience, offering a way to explore the soul of our waterways.

After five years of hands-on work within the houseboat world, we felt a calling to create something meaningful, something that would serve travelers from home and abroad, while also easing the everyday challenges faced by boat owners.

This was the moment our dream took shape and this is where the journey of Houseboats of Bangladesh began.
