At Houseboats of Bangladesh, we understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be transparent, fair, and respectful to both our guests and our boat partners.

2. Cancellation Timeline & Refund Eligibility
No Cancellation After Confirmation
Once a trip is confirmed, cancellation is not permitted. However, the booking may be rescheduled to the next available date, subject to availability.
Non-Refundable Advance Payments
Advance payments remain non-refundable under all circumstances. Refunds are not applicable except in cases where Houseboats of Bangladesh is unable to operate the trip.
Rescheduling Policy
- Bookings cannot be cancelled once confirmed
- Booking may be rescheduled to the next available date
- Rescheduling is permitted subject to availability
- Rescheduling requests must be made at least 15 days prior
3. How to Cancel Your Booking
To cancel your booking, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account at houseboatsbd.com
- Navigate to "My Bookings"
- Select the booking you wish to cancel
- Click the "Request Cancellation" button
- Confirm your cancellation request

4. No-Show Policy
- If a guest fails to check in on the scheduled date without prior notice, the booking will be marked as No-Show
- No refund will be issued under any circumstances
- We strongly recommend informing us in advance if your plans change
5. Booking Modifications
Guests may request booking modifications instead of cancellation, subject to availability:
- Date changes more than 15 days before check-in → may or may not incur a modification fee
- All modification requests must be approved by our operations team
6. Special & Unforeseen Circumstances
We may offer flexible solutions in exceptional cases, including:
- Severe weather conditions or natural disasters
- Government-imposed travel restrictions or lockdowns
- Operator-initiated cancellation
