1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Houseboats of Bangladesh website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Booking and Reservations

Booking Process

All bookings made through our platform are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us.

To ensure a seamless and well-managed journey for all our guests, the following policies apply to all bookings:

• A 50% advance payment of the total package value is required prior to the travel date
• Refunds are not applicable except in cases where Houseboats of Bangladesh is unable to operate the trip
• Full payment must be completed before departure
• You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking
• You must provide accurate and complete information during the booking process
• You are responsible for ensuring all guests comply with our terms
• If the required advance payment is not received within the stipulated time, Houseboats of Bangladesh reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the booking
• For assistance or rescheduling requests, please contact our team via WhatsApp or phone
• Overtime or extended service beyond the scheduled itinerary is not permitted

Force Majeure

In the event of unavoidable circumstances such as water traffic restrictions, mechanical issues, or natural conditions that prevent operations, the trip will be rescheduled. Advance payments remain non-refundable under all circumstances. Houseboats of Bangladesh reserves the right to reschedule any trip if operational conditions require.

Child Policy

• 0–3 years: Complimentary
• 3–5 years: 50% of package price (child must share cabin with guardian)
• 5 years and above: Full package applicable

3. Cancellation Policy

• Once a trip is confirmed, cancellation is not permitted
• Bookings may be rescheduled to the next available date, subject to availability
• Rescheduling requests must be made at least 15 days prior to the travel date
• Advance payments remain non-refundable under all circumstances
• Refunds are only applicable in cases where Houseboats of Bangladesh is unable to operate the trip

4. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to:

• Treat the houseboat and its amenities with care
• Follow all safety instructions provided by the crew
• Respect other guests and local communities
• Not engage in any illegal activities
• Report any damages or issues immediately

5. Liability

Personal Belongings

Houseboats of Bangladesh is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during your stay.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

6. Reviews and Content

By submitting a review, you grant us the right to publish, modify, and use your review for promotional purposes. Reviews must be honest and not contain offensive content.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
